Blizzard laid out a full roadmap for the rest of Midnight, and it stretches a lot further than most people expected - all the way into 2027, with a stop along the way tied to The Last Titan's own timeline.
What's coming before Eclipse
Before the expansion's final chapter even arrives, patch 12.1.7 is set to introduce Talebound, a standalone rogue-like action RPG mode built as its own separate experience rather than a system bolted onto the normal leveling or endgame loop. Details on how it actually plays are still thin, but it's being positioned as a genuinely different way to spend time in Midnight rather than another side activity layered on top of the usual content.
Eclipse closes out the story
From there, the roadmap leads straight into Midnight: Eclipse, patch 12.2 and the expansion's final chapter, where the Xal'atath storyline finally gets resolved. Eclipse isn't the end of the roadmap on its own, though - Blizzard confirmed content continuing afterward with patch 12.2.7, still under the Midnight banner.
Wrath of the Lich King Remix caps things off
The roadmap's actual endpoint is a Wrath of the Lich King Remix event, arriving in Summer 2027 once patch 12.2.7 has run its course. That puts a full Remix event - not just a passing mention - as the send-off for Midnight before attention shifts fully toward whatever comes next.
Taken together, this is one of the more detailed forward-looking roadmaps Blizzard has put out in a while: a new game mode mid-expansion, a clear endpoint for the main story, and a full year-plus of content already mapped out beyond that.
