BlizzCon 2026's Opening Ceremony wasn't just a WoW show - Blizzard also used it to announce a new StarCraft game.
Rather than jumping straight into combat footage, the announcement trailer follows a single recruit through basic training on the way to becoming a marine - putting a human face on the process before ever getting to the battlefield.
Beyond that trailer, Blizzard isn't saying much else yet, and there's a long wait ahead regardless: the game isn't due out until Spring 2030. Expect details to stay thin for a while longer.
